The primary reward in the game is packs, and the secondary reward is Dust, which can be used for packs, joining events, and legends. Note: Dust cannot be purchased. Beyond this, the general reward for all gameplay is the Win streak. Players will get progressively better rewards for each win which will cap out at a pack and some Exp per each win after that. This is to provide a constant goal for all players in the game that doesn’t require them to change their gameplay. Simply win games, and get packs.
Daily and weekly challenges will provide EXP towards whichever set’s “battle pass” the player has selected. Battle passes are extra levels players can get for each set in the game which allows them an opportunity to get extra cards and cosmetics themed around that set. Battle passes are 100% opt-in. If a player does not purchase a battle pass they may still acquire packs for that set, the battle pass just speeds up their collecting of cards for it.
Every battle pass has 10 Tiers and each tier has 9 rewards. When players “level up” in the battle pass they will be able to select any reward from their current tier and once they have 7 they can progress to the next tier. The account level system will operate essentially as a battle pass that every player will have access to. It will work in the same function but provide a few extra rewards with each tier increase. The final two progression systems are focused on legends specifically.
Each legend has a mastery level where the Exp they earn also gets applied at the same rate. Mastery rewards include some guaranteed cards and card cosmetics, it also includes challenges that come with unique challenge-themed rewards. Exp is assigned from having the legend in your party when the Exp is received at the end of a game.
